Self-employed sessional therapists or counsellors We are looking for therapists or counsellors from across the region to undertake specific pieces of work to enable the agency to provide a comprehensive adoption and adoption support service to its own adoptive families or to other adoptive or permanent placements or to undertake other assessment work as appropriate. This would include work with children and young people and, where appropriate, their parents or carers. As the project is becoming more established, we are becoming aware of the specific needs of the children and families referred. As a result, we would be particularly interested to hear from applicants with experience of working with complex attachment difficulties and/or systemic family therapy. Qualification and Registration requirements are set out in the attached Job Description & Person Specification document. Applicants will be self-employed, with full professional indemnity, and will have a clean driving licence. Enhanced CRB checks will be undertaken. There is no guarantee of regular work, but we are looking for therapists who would like to work with us as we develop this exciting new service.
