As part of our other fundraising activities, Adoption Matters Northwest has set up a Mission Fish / ebay account. Mission Fish is a specific company that helps charities to auction items via ebay but allowing the money to be legitimately donated to the charity, maintaining our status as a non profit making member (look out for the ribbon logo). All of the items are listed as being auctioned for charity so bidders know all the money goes to a good cause. Alternatively we can be chosen, by any person selling items on ebay, as a nominated Charity to receive part or all of the profit made from an item sold. To find out how you could nominate our charity to receive some of the money you make whilst selling on ebay click here, and select the ‘sell’ tab on the window that opens.
Eventually we also hope to be able to sell items ourselves and get 100% of the profit. We are therefore looking for companys and organisations who would like to work in partnership with Adoption Matters Northwest, to set up an online store. This way we can get donations from regular products that are sold, or we could aution off items they regularly donate to the organisation.
